Sustainability starts and stops with the construction industry - the materials used, the waste produced and the final built environment.  Therefore, we must be leaders in sustainability.

As part of HESS’ sustainability efforts, our associates are trained in the theory and practice of green building emphasizing the LEED rating system. We believe Green buildings are not only good for the environment, they also provide immediate and long-term economic benefits for developers, building owners and occupants.

The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green building.
