This project spans across 25-acres and includes a 143,676-SF Indoor Firearm Range Building that features classrooms and administrative spaces and a 17,938-SF Outdoor Tactical Training Village composed of seven buildings. The main building features one of the largest indoor firing ranges ever constructed in the United States of America, at 200-yards. HESS provided general contracting services for Prince George’s County’s new state-of-the-art Public Safety Firearms Range. This facility is designed with the latest technology to provide vital hands-on tactical training to local public safety personnel year-round. The construction of this center answers today’s ongoing need for increased training of law enforcement personnel with not only various gun ranges, but also with a hands-on tactical village designed for real-life simulation exercises.
